Adilabad/Hyderabad, March 4 (Maxim News): Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Adilabad district and started the projects for over Rs, 6500 crore. Prime Minister Modi came here for the first time after the Congress government was formed in Telangana.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy extended a cordial invitation to the Prime Minister, Participated with Modi in Adilabad Public meeting. Revanth Reddy thanked Prime Minister Modi for helping the development of Telangana. He said our State government will always be ready to welcome you on your arrival.

Speaking on this occasion at a public meeting in Adilabad, Revanth Reddy said that the Prime Minister is our elder brother, and made it clear that it is not our position to clash with the Centre.  He said that if there is a quarrel with the Central government, the development of the state will be hindered.  He said that his government will go ahead with state development activities.  He said that there is no abuse from our side. The Prime Minister is like an elder to them. Modi asked for cooperation to develop Telangana like Gujarat.

He thanked Prime Minister Modi on behalf of the people of Telangana.  Instead of 4000 megawatts in the Partition Act, only 1600 megawatts of electricity came to Telangana.  Telangana is contributing to the achievement of a five trillion economy in the country.  Cantonment Defense Department lands were transferred to the state.  It will be useful for the construction of skyways which are crucial in the development of Telangana.  Also, Revanth Reddy said that they will support the rest of the project as well.

Revanth Reddy said that Telangana State needs your blessings and appealed to Prime Minister Modi that he will establish the Srijana Sravati of Pranahita Chevella, for this, he requested that you please give permission to the Maharashtra government in the matter of land acquisition.  It was explained to the Prime Minister that our government wants to build Pranahita chevella Srijana Sravanti near the project, if that happens, we will be able to provide irrigation to lakhs of acres of land for the tribals.  

Revanth Reddy said that your blessings are already in Telangana state.  I want it to be like this from now on as well.  We do not want to fight with the Central government and promised that we will improve our friendship.  (Maxim News)
