Modi killed farmers, KCR protects with Rythu Bandhu: Harish Rao

Hyderabad, Jan.10 (Maxim News): Finance Minister T Harish Rao today alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was against the farmers as he caused the deaths of about 500 farmers for protesting against the three farm laws, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is offering all help to the farmers with Rythu Bandhu. He attended a program of Rythu Bandhu celebrations at NTR Stadium to mark Rs 50,000 cr distribution under the scheme so far as about 64 lahs farmers got the benefit this time.

Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Ministers Mahamood Ali, Srinivas Goud, rythu bandhu samithi president Palla Rajeswhar Reddy, MLAs Danam Nagender, Gopinath and others attended the event.

On the occasion the Finance Minister accused the Modi regime of killing the farmers at Delhi borders for seeking repeal of three black farm laws. The Modi government lacks any sense and plan to help farmers or the poor and he comes up with false acts and failure policies, he charged. The Minister slammed the BJP leadership for roping in union ministers and some CMs of BJP ruled states to blame the state government.

The KCR Government offers rythu bandhu to all farmers including leaders of the opposition parties who are blaming the government, he said.

Only Telangana is giving Rs 10000 per acre to the farmers in the state while no other states are able to follow suit. The Minister ridiculed that the Modi government copied the rythu bandhu scheme to give just Rs 6000 to the farmers across the country. He lashed out at the Congress and the BJP presidents Revanth Reddy and Bandi Sanjay for their protests and blame game on rythu bandhu, GO 317 and others. They have no right to talk about jobs, GOs, corruption and development, he said, adding that the two national parties dumped the people and farmers.

He claimed that only Telangana state in India is offering Rs 50000 cr funds so far towards farmers under the rythu bandhu scheme. This time as many as 64 lakhs of farmers have been getting rythu bandhu financial assistance and events are to mark the same. Besides constructing irrigation projects the state is doing its best to farmers who are getting 24 hour power, he claimed.

He ridiculed that the opposition parties, though blaming the KCR government, are very much getting Rythu Bandhu. Though we produced 3 cr mt of paddy the Centre failed to procure the same with double standards, he charged. He said that Rs 1 lakh crop loan to be waived in the state and farmers got rid of problems like loans, suicides and power problems. We give all support to the farmers for a rise in farm production, he said.
