Hyderabad, April 16 (Maxim News): The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has planned to Construct Foot over Bridges at various locations in its jurisdiction.
A Consultant M/s IIDC Ltd was appointed to assist GHMC from Concept to Commencement of the project for a total of 50 FOBS at various locations across the city. In the first phase, M/s Raus Constructions Pvt. Ltd was awarded to take up the construction of FOBs at 5 locations under EPC (Engineering Procurement Construction) mode.
Further, FOBs have been taken up under PPP (Public Private Partnership) mode by M/s Prakash Arts (with Advertisements) at 2 locations. An additional 9 locations have been taken up for development of FOBs under PPP mode by two agencies M/s GMR Ads and M/s Adways (with Limited Advertisements). Furthermore, permission has been accorded to utilize the services of the appointed consultant M/s IIDC Ltd for an additional 12 locations for the construction of FOBs based on necessity and representations/ correspondence received from various organizations and elected representatives.
