- Arvind raises corruption claims and questions promises in Telangana
BJP Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Arvind targeted Chief Minister Revanth Reddy while releasing a charge sheet against the Telangana government in Delhi. He spoke to the media and made a series of allegations. He said that he congratulated the Congress and Revanth Reddy for completing two years, but he claimed that they “earned a lot in these two years.”
He alleged that corruption was done in a very systematic way and that ministers, their relatives and Revanth Reddy’s relatives benefited. He also accused the Congress of cheating the public after coming to power. He asked why the Chief Minister “did not fulfill a single promise made.”
Arvind further said that Telangana faces an unemployment problem as well as an employee problem. He questioned Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and asked, “why Revanth Reddy was so angry with Hindu gods.” He accused Revanth Reddy of saying that “Congress means Muslims.”
He also questioned why KCR and KTR are not being jailed. While continuing his criticism, he said that Revanth Reddy “is like a Lilliputian.” He expressed concern that 793 farmers in Telangana committed suicide in two years. He said that each farmer has a debt of more than one lakh. He then asked why the farmer’s loan was not waived and why he was not given “Rs. 500 for small rice.”
Meanwhile, Arvind rejected any talk of internal differences within the BJP in Telangana. He clarified that there are no differences among BJP leaders and said that they are all united. He explained that he is very close to BJP Telangana President Ramachandra Rao.
He said that Ramachandra Rao is like an elder brother to him. He expressed hope that the party will strengthen under his leadership. Arvind also said that they are confident that they will come to power in Telangana in the next elections.
