Mulayam Singh Yadav’s Son Prateek Yadav Dies At 38

Hyderabad, May 13: Prateek Yadav, son of late Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, died in Lucknow on Wednesday morning. He was 38.

Prateek Yadav was the husband of Aparna Yadav and stepbrother of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.

According to reports, family members rushed him to a civil hospital in Lucknow at around 6:15 am after his health deteriorated suddenly.

Doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.

Police and hospital officials said there were no visible injury marks on the body.

Lung Related Health Problems Reported

Sources said Prateek Yadav had been suffering from lung related health complications for some time.

He was reportedly undergoing treatment for a blood clot in his lungs.

Family members noticed his condition worsening on Wednesday morning after he became unresponsive at home.

Doctors at King George’s Medical University are expected to conduct a post mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.

Aparna Yadav was reportedly not present when he was taken to the hospital.

Prateek Yadav largely stayed away from active politics despite belonging to one of Uttar Pradesh’s most influential political families.

Prateek Yadav recently attracted attention after posting messages on social media about problems in his marriage.

In January, he publicly announced plans to seek divorce from Aparna Yadav and accused her of damaging family relationships.
