Municipal Election Notification Was Against HC Order–Cong

Hyderabad, Dec.24 (Maxim News): AICC secretary SA Sampath Kumar said state election commission had issued election notification to hold municipal elections without following orders of high court. He said that the court had asked the commission to issue the notification after the classification of the wards and fixing of the reservations.

Speaking to the media persons, he alleged the ruling TRS party was scared of facing a defeat in the municipal elections and added that the pink party had mounted pressure on the commission and forced it to issue the election notification. He asked the commission as  to whom they should complaint if they had any problem regarding reservations. He also wondered as to how the ruling TRS party would issue the list of their contesting candidates even before the release of the notification.(Maxim News)
