Munugode By-Election: KCR likely to field candidate on new party name
Hyderabad, October 5: TRS chief and Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) is seriously contemplating to field candidate on new national party name which he will be officially announcing on Wednesday (October 5) on the auspicious occasion of Dasara festival after holding a TRS extending executive committee meeting with ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs and corporation chairpersons at Telangana Bhavan here. In all, 283 party functionaries will be attending the meeting.
KCR will inform to his partymen as to what made him to launch a national party. He will also explain about agenda of proposed new party and its relations with regional parties. After the meeting, signatures will be taken by attendees of the meeting on resolutions passed.
The TRS chief wants to register first victory on new party name by winning Munugode by-election. TRS main leaders reportedly told KCR that registration of party name with the Election Commission of India will be completed prior to beginning of by-election nomination process.
