Kammareddy, Nov.7 (NSS): Former union minister Jairam Ramesh today said that the just concluded munugodu by-elections witnessed the flow of money and not the flow of votes. He said that the party candidate Palvai Sravanthi fought hard amid the two millionaires of the ruling TRS and BJP. He said that the party would hold a review meeting on the results of the by-elections and go ahead with more confidence.
Speaking to media persons in the district, Ramesh alleged that the TRS and the BJP had murdered democracy in munugodu and added that liquor and money won the by-elections in the constituency. Referring to the comments of balladeer Gaddar, he said that the comments of Gaddar that the Telangana has one CR, Two CR, Three CR , four CR and KCR were completely true . He alleged that the state government had deployed its entire machinery in the constituency for 15 days and spent ₹200 crores to win the by-elections. He made it clear that they were not disappointed with the by-election results and added that the congress party would continue to fight against the ruling party with more vigour and energy.
