Muslim Quota: BJP Opposes Minority Reservation: Venkaiah Naidu

Hyderabad: Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu while addressing at Dr B R Ambedkar Jayanthi Celebrations said Ambedkar was against reservations based on caste.

He said BJP is also against to it but it strongly supports reservations of backwardness.

He said BJP will always work for the upliftment of financially and socially backward people of all religions.

In this regard he reminded of Gandhiji’s saying that it is dangerous to convert from one religion to the other by encouraging which India will become one more Pakistan in no time.

He clearly mentioned that BJP is against communal reservations which will demand for another partition of the country.
