Hyderabad: Leader of Opposition in Telangana Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir here on Saturday dubbed TRS supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao as anti-dalit.
Shabbir Ali said K Chandrasekhar Rao let down dalits by not garlanding Dr Babasahed Ambedkar on the 126th Ambedkar Jayanti. He also advised IT Minister K Taraka Ramarao not to criticize the Congress. He also advised KCR to restrain KTR from making pungent comments on Congressmen.
Shabbir also slammed the BJP for categorizing the Minorities quota as religious reservation. “The BJP has given 10% quota to Patels in Gujarat. Is it not a religious reservation?, he asked. He also accused Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu of indulging in double-talk. “There appears to be a match-fixing between the TRS and BJP on the issue of reservations for the Minorities”, he added.
