Before assuming charge, Ramachandra Rao began the day with spiritual offerings. He visited the Saraswati Temple at Osmania University and offered prayers, followed by a visit to the Bhagyalakshmi Ammavari Temple near Charminar — a symbolic gesture reflecting his reverence for culture and tradition.

He arrived at the party headquarters in a massive rally from his residence, greeted by enthusiastic party workers, chants, and garlands. Union Minister G. Speaking after taking charge, Ramachandra Rao expressed gratitude to the party leadership and reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the BJP’s presence across Telangana. He said the party would continue to work for the welfare of the people, especially the youth, farmers, and underprivileged sections.

The leadership change comes at a crucial time, with the party eyeing a stronger performance in upcoming local body elections and gearing up for the 2029 General Elections. Ramachandra Rao is known for his disciplined political journey and organizational skills, which the party believes will play a key role in BJP’s expansion in the state.
