Nampally Court Extend Remand of Former DCP Radhakishan Rao

Nampally Court | Hyderabad, April 10 (Maxim News):  Nampally court has extended the remand of Task Force Former DCP Radha Kishan Rao till April 12 in a phone tapping case.  

As the custody of Radhakishan Rao ended, today, the police produced him in the Nampally court in the morning.  The court said that the remand of Radhakishan will continue till the 12th of this month. 

On this occasion, Radha Kishan told the court he was not allowed to go to the library in the jail.  He complained that he could not even meet the jail superintendent

The Court questioned the police on this,  the court ordered that he be allowed to meet the superintendent of the jail along with the library. 

Radhakishan, who was arrested in the phone-tapping case, was taken into police custody and questioned for almost a week. 

Based on the information given by him, some other people are being questioned.  Radha Kishan convention has become crucial in the phone-tapping affair.  During the previous government’s regime, the then Chief of the Special Intelligence Branch (SIB) Prabhakar Rao was the key player in this affair. 

Radhakishan Rao’s investigation revealed that more than 10 leaders of BRS played a key role in the phone tapping case. 

But on the fourth day in custody, he fell.  He was taken to Gandhi Hospital for medical examination and then produced in the court.

Radhakrishan, arrested in connection with the phone tapping case, was held in police custody and interrogated for nearly seven days.

His revelations led to the interrogation of several other individuals. The involvement of Radha Kishan has become pivotal in the phone-tapping scandal.

Under the previous government, Prabhakar Rao, the former Chief of the Special Intelligence Branch (SIB), played a central role. Investigation into Radhakishan Rao’s testimony uncovered the involvement of over ten BRS leaders in the phone-tapping incident. However, his health deteriorated on the fourth day of custody, prompting authorities to transfer him to Gandhi Hospital for medical evaluation before presenting him in court. (Maxim News)
