Narrow-Minded Forces Tried To Block The TSRTC Bill: KCR

Hyderabad, Aug 15 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao said that the narrow-minded forces who are worried about the public support of the state government have tried unsuccessfully to block the TSRTC bill.  But the TSRTC Bill was successfully passed in the Assembly. KCR said the families of TSRTC employees are filled with happiness.  

Addressing the gathering at Golconda Fort, today, for strengthening TSRTC after the formation of Telangana, keeping in view the benefits of the organization and the welfare of the staff, he reminds us that the government has been providing Rs. 1500 crores in the budget.  As a result of the reforms made by the BRS government, the TSRTC organization is now able to achieve somewhat better results than before.  But losses are not inevitable.

However, the BRS government has taken a decision to merge 43,373 TSRTC employees into the government with the aim of protecting the TSRTC organization and strengthening TSRTC after the formation of Telangana, keeping in view and ensuring the welfare of the staff working in it.  KCR said that the TSRTC bill has also been approved in the Assembly.  (Maxim News)
