Nearly 16 Lakhs Cash Seized In Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Oct 31 (Maxim news): The flying squad seized Rs. 15,92,000 in cash, bringing the total cash seized under the election code of conduct to Rs. 1,93,22,880 in Hyderabad.

The Hyderabad police also seized Rs. 13,42,856 in cash, taking the total cash seized by the police to Rs. 44,01,48,761.

A total of 16 FIRs have been registered in connection with these seizures, bringing the total number of FIRs registered to 452.

In addition, 31 weapons were collected on October 31, bringing the total number of weapons collected to 4,510.

733 cases have been registered under the Criminal Procedure Code, including 46 cases registered on October 31. There have also been 114 Bindover cases, bringing the total number of Bindover cases to 2,006. Additionally, 115 Nakkas Operations have been conducted, bringing the total number of Nakkas Operations to 1,544.

There are currently 129 non-bailable warrants, and the total number of cases registered is 1,011.

Under the Model Code of Conduct, 34 instances of wall writings on public properties were removed on October 31, bringing the total number of wall writings removed to 5,310. 982 posters were also removed on October 31, bringing the total number of posters removed to 76,798.

27,356 banners have been removed under the Model Code of Conduct, including 312 banners removed on October 31. 1,016 statues of political leaders have also been masked, including 166 statues masked on October 31.

On private properties, 6 wall writings were removed on October 31, bringing the total number of wall writings removed to 1,237. 160 posters were also removed on October 31, bringing the total number of posters removed to 20,382. 38 banners were also removed on October 31, bringing the total number of banners removed to 5,116. 166 statues of political leaders have also been masked on private properties, bringing the total number of statues masked to 21,728.

The Excise department also seized 903 liters of liquor on October 31, bringing the total liquor seized to 12,826 liters.
