Hyderabad, October 31: District Election Officer, GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose said that necessary steps are being taken to conduct the elections transparently. On Tuesday, a press conference was held at the GHMC headquarters on the conduct of elections.

On this occasion, the District Election Officer said that the name of the voter should be in the voter list and should have an Epic card. If you do not have an Epic card, you should have one of the 12 identity cards as prescribed by the Election Commission of India. Aadhaar Card, Employment Guarantee Scheme Job Card, Bank or Post Office Pass Book with Photograph, Health Insurance Smart Card issued by Labor Minister, Driving License, PAN Card, Smart Card issued by NPR, RGI, Passport, Pension Document with Photograph, He said that they should have Central, State and Public Sector service ID card with photo, MP, MLA, MLC identity card, Unique Disability ID card issued by Social Justice, Empowerment.

After the final voter list was published on October 4th, 1,35,756 applications were received through Form-6, out of which 83 thousand were cleared, and by October 31st, voters should apply for the voter registration shift. . He said that up to 15,000 new voter registration applications are being received every day. He said that 1,00,332 applications were received through Form-8 out of which 45 thousand duplicate votes were removed.

He said that gold and cash worth 45,94,71,641 have been seized as part of the model code of conduct. He said that 18.62 crores of cash, 27.63 crores of gold and other valuables, 27,280 liters of liquor and 1024 kgs of ganja were seized through narcotics. He said that the legal money will be released through the District Grievance Committee. He said that from November 3 nominations will be issued by the Constituency ROs through Form-1 informing them of the place of nomination. The nomination process will be from November 3 to 10. After the draw on 15th, as soon as the contesting candidates are known, the voter information slip will be issued as soon as the details of the contest candidate are known. They will be distributed through BLOs. Those who are not at home during slip distribution will prepare ASD list and give it to POs. Voter information slips should be considered as identity cards. He said that either EPIC card or alternative identity cards should be taken and voted as suggested by the Election Commission.

He said that these VMs have completed the first phase of examination and given to the ROs of the respective constituencies. He said that they were kept in the strong room. He said that the second phase of examination will be done after November 15. The district election officer said that the cash, gold and other items seized by the police flying squad were found to be not related to the candidates of the parties and released immediately without causing any trouble to the public. In this background, 152 receipts with a value of Rs.16 crores and 17 lakh rupees were received, of which 121 receipts worth Rs.4.50 crores were resolved and released. Those holding cash worth more than Rs.11.14 crores and more than 10 lakhs have been recommended to the IT department. He said that 15 more cases are pending and they will be resolved soon.

He said that 43 crores have been caught so far. He said that 27,000 liquor was seized and 1024 kg of drugs, ganja, were seized. He said that 8 district election observers have been appointed by the Election Commission. District Election Officer Ronald Rose said that the cost inspectors and general observers will also come on November 3.
