New Aarogyasri Cards With Unique ID: Medical Services Are Also Free!

Hyderabad, July 18 (Maxim News): The State government has started efforts to provide better healthcare to the poor people of Telangana. As a part of that, the government, which is taking many key decisions, has already issued an order not to link Arogyasri and Ration Cards.

The Chief Minister advised the officials to apply the scheme to all irrespective of their ration card and financial status. He said that Rajiv Arogyasri intends to identify the beneficiaries of the scheme and give new cards to the beneficiaries. Similar to the cards issued by private insurance companies. It seems that Arogyasri cards will be issued with a unique ID to each family as a unit.

Everyone in the family will be given a separate number, the same card will be linked to the health profile and the state digital health profile will be prepared. The officers have already gone to Chennai twice and studied the implementation of the scheme there. It is reported that a report has also been given to the government for the implementation of the scheme. It seems that the trauma care package will also be brought under the purview of Arogyasri and a special department will be set up. Officials say hospitals with Arogysri empanelment and availability of specialty services can be used for trauma care.

Multiple injury cases are currently not being treated under Arogyasri. If the Traumacare system is available. This problem will also be solved. the Government of Tamil Nadu is implementing the Trauma Care Package to provide free treatment to patients with emergency conditions such as accidents, strokes, and suicides in private hospitals. The government will bear the charges of patients admitted to trauma care. This scheme aims to provide treatment in the golden hour and save the patient’s life.

The expenditure of Arogysri will be Rs. 1,100 crore per year, the officials said. It is estimated that if this scheme is applied to all, an additional Rs. 400 crore will be spent. There are 1.3 crore families in Telangana and 90 lakh white ration cards. Of the remaining 40 lakh families, about 15 lakh families are likely to get new white ration cards.

There are EHS for government employees, high-income families, health insurance for police, and health insurance schemes for employees of corporations like Singareni, Software private employees are taking their health insurance.

It is estimated that only the poor are using the Arogyasri scheme, and even if it is applied to everyone now, there is no chance of a huge financial burden. (Maxim News)
