Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has expressed his anger at US President Donald Trump . He said that Trump, who supported the protests, is considered a criminal. He accused him of being responsible for the unrest and loss of life in Iran. There is a US conspiracy behind the current protests. Their goal is to suppress and dominate Iran. During the protests, the US president himself made comments and expressed support for the protesters. That is why he is considered a criminal, Khamenei said.

US President Trump responded to Supreme Leader Khamenei’s comments . He said it was time to look for new leadership in Iran. Protests in the country have subsided, but thousands of protesters have died in the past three weeks. That is why Trump said it was time to end Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s 37-year rule. He made these comments in an interview with Politico. He accused Khamenei of using violence on a scale never seen before, as a leader, to completely destroy Iran. He said Iran’s leadership should focus on running its country properly… not killing thousands of people to maintain control. Trump said leadership is about honor, but not fear and death. He described Khamenei as an anorexic. He said that poor leadership has made Iran the worst country in the world to live in.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump cancelled plans to attack Tehran at the last minute. An Iranian ambassador to Pakistan told the media that Trump had assured them that they did not want to attack at the moment. This has reduced tensions between the two countries. In addition, the White House announced that Iran had also abolished the death penalty for protesters due to Trump’s warnings.  Iran has also reopened its airspace. Also, Reuters published an article that US personnel who had been evacuated from their key Al-Udeid air base in Qatar, near Iran, and several military bases across West Asia have returned to their bases.
