NHRC Gets Cops Version On Hyderabad Encounter
Hyderabad, Dec.10 (Maxim News): National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) today got information from injured police men, including ASI Venkateshwarlu and constable Arvind Goud on the alleged encounter of four accused in Disha rape and murder case.
The police officials have submitted details of the encounter report, post mortem, forensic and related information on how the Hyderabad encounter took place. On other hand, Rachakonda Commissioner of Police Mahesh Bhagavat, who was is appointed chief of a SIT comprising eight officials, has begun the probe on the encounter on behalf of the government.
NHRC visited the city for three days to get details on the encounter. It started probe from Mahabub Nagar district by seeing the bodies and later inspected the incident spot at Chatanpally. The NHRC team came here to ascertain the facts that led to encounter of the four accused. Meanwhile, the government shifted the bodies in a AC vehicle to Gandhi Hospital from Mahabub Nagar district followed by a direction from the High Court.
While, the Supreme Court will hear the case on Wednesday, the State high court will hear it on Thursday. The High Court asked the State government to preserve bodies of the accused till Friday.(Maxim News)
