Night Curfew Imposed In Telangana
"All offices, firms, shops, establishments,restaurants etc. shall close at 8.00 PM except hospitals, diagnostic labs, pharmacies and those dealing with supply of essential services," the state government order stated.
Hyderabad, April 20: The KCR Government announced on Tuesday that a night curfew will be imposed across the state between 9pm to 5am from today in order to control the spread of the coronavirus.
Essential services are exempted. The night curfew will be in place till May 1st.

“All offices, firms, shops, establishments,restaurants etc. shall close at 8.00 PM except hospitals, diagnostic labs, pharmacies and those dealing with supply of essential services,” the state government order stated.
Violating the curfew will result in prosecution under Sections 51 to 60 of Disaster Management Act
2005 and Section 188 of IPC,the order said.
Telangana High Court on Monday asked the State government to take a call on imposing night curfew or weekend lockdowns to curb the spread of COVID-19.
It is to mention here that On Monday, a two judge panel comprising Chief Justice Hima Kohli and Justice B. Vijaysen Reddy expressed its displeasure over the failure on the Telangana government in handling the second wave of corona virus spread in the State.
Telangana director of public health, Dr. G. Srininvas Rao urged the people to take all the necessary precautions for the next four to six weeks as the number of corona virus cases are increasing on a faster note.
Telangana confirmed 5,926 fresh coronavirus cases on Tuesday,the highest ever in a single day, pushing the total infection count to over 3.61 lakh, while the tollrose to 1,856 with 18 more fatalities.
