Nine dead bodies fished out from Warangal Well

Hyderabad, May 22 (Maxim News): The Warangal Police have fished out nine dead bodies of migrants workers from a well in Geesukonda Mandal of Warangal district . The incident took place at a defunct well located in funny bag godown on the outskirts of for Gorrekunta area. Of the nine bodies, the police fished out four dead bodies on Thursday and the remaining five dead bodies today from the well.  As the dead bodies did not have any bodily injury, it is being suspected that all the victims might have committed mass suicide.

The victims have been identified as Maqsood, his wife Nisha, daughter Busra, her three year old son, Shahbad, Sohail, all are the natives of West Bengal, Shyam, Sriram, the natives of Bihar and Shakeel, who is the native of Warangal. The dead bodies were sent to MGM for post mortem. The Warangal police commissioner Ravinder and mayor  G. Prakash Rao inspected the spot of incident. According to the police, Maqsood came for Warangal 20 years back along with his family members. They used to stay at a house in Kareemabad area of the city.  However they have shifted to the godown after the imposition of the lockdown in the city and staying at the same place by doing their regular work at the godown.

The incident of suicide came to light when the owner of the godown came to his office and looked out for the workers. The police have booked a case of suicide in the incident and investigating the matter. (Maxim News)
