Hyderabad, Dec.15 (Maxim News): AICC spokesperson G. Niranjan on Sunday came down heavily on the Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu’s comments that independent India was not the result of congress party, and termed them unfortunate and immoral. He made it clear that Naidu who is holding a constitutional post should not make such comments.
He said that Naidu had made these comments while delivering his address at 40th foundation day of national dairy development board. In a statement, he made it clear that the leaders of the party which didn’t have any role in India’s freedom struggle, should not make such insulting remarks against the party. He alleged that Naidu was making comments like a BJP leader despite the fact that he was Vice President of the country. He said that the need of the hour was to strengthen the Congress party to solve all the problems faced by the country.(Maxim News)
