Niranjan Says Centre Has Assured Of Adequate Supply Of Urea
Hyderabad, Aug.18 (Maxim News): Telangana Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy today said that the Centre has assured of adequate supply of urea and fertilizers to state.
He called on union fertilizer minister Sadananda Gouda in Delhi and appealed for adequate supply urea and fertilizers to state.Later talking to media persons Niranjan Reddy has informed that Gouda has promised to protect state interests.
The Union minister said that the nation is responsible for protecting the interests 60 percent of farmers, he said. Telangana has 18000 metric tons of urea buffer stock for the farmers the minister said. He also said that the centre will release the urea quota from time to time to state of Telangana.
The Union minister has assured of timely release of the urea stocks to our state. However due to corona labour problem us continuing and there is delay in supply of the urea stock, the minister said. He also said that the farmers can get the urea stock when they need.
Niranjan Reddy extended thanks to the Union minister for his positive response to supply adequate urea shock. We hope to get the same in near future he said. All the farmers are happy at good rainfall and state to see more production he added. (Maxim News)
