Nizam College campus has WiFi now
Hyderabad: Students at Nizam College campus can now digitally connect with each other through JioNet high-speed Wi-Fi facility, which was inaugurated on Tuesday.
The WiFi facility is part of the initiative of Reliance Jio to transform college campuses into digital campuses in the country, according to a press release.
Osmania University, Registrar, Prof. Ch. Gopal Reddy formally inaugurated the WiFi facility at an event held at Nizam College Auditorium on Tuesday.
“It is fitting that Nizam College, which is one the oldest colleges in the State, is being digitally transformed. I urge the staff and students to make use of the facility, which is set up for the purpose of learning,” Mr. Reddy said.
In the press release, Jio said it is in the process of creating a digital ecosystem in colleges nation-wide and enable students to get digitally connected. It has already enabled over 500 colleges with Wi-Fi.
