Nizam Family Pledge Loyalty and Solidarity to Prince Amzet Jah As IX Nizam

Nizam Family | Hyderabad, March 4 (Maxim News): The Sahebzadas of Sarf-e-Khas trust House of Asaf Jahi Dynasty Family of Nizam 1 to Nizam VI and Majlis-e-Sahebzadagan has pledged their loyalty and solidarity to Prince Azmet Jah as IX Nizam, stating that “Prince Azmet Jah Bahadur is the rightful heir to the throne and he rightfully deserves it they further stated that Those who are not related to the Nizam family cannot be appointed in this position.

In support of their claim, they got a fatwa issued by Jamia Nizamia (religious opinion) which also declared that the IX Nizam would be from Nizam’s dynasty ie Sahebzadagan.

Hence “Nawab Raunaq Khan designated as IX Nizam of Asif Jahi Dynasty is not eligible as he does not belong to the Nizam lineage from the paternal side.

The members of the Sarf-e-Khas Trust, House of Asaf Jahi Dynasty Family of Nizam 1 to Nizam VI and Majlis-e-Sahebzadan (regd 268/2004) Mir Salamat Ali Khan said “Sahebzada is the term normally used for Asaf Jahi family members.

Whereas “Nizam” is the official title for Asaf Jahi rulers. Only those who belong to the Sahebzadas of Asif Jahi families are official heirs to the Nizam family and from them, only titular Nzam can be nominated.

Nawab Mir Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, the great-grandson of the first Nizam of Hyderabad, Mir Qamaruddin Ali Khan said, according to the trust deed, no other member can be titular who is not Sahebzada.

Some claim themselves as heirs and choose their own IX Nizam against Azmet Jah who was earlier selected as Ninth nizam after the demise of Mir Barkat Ali Khan Nizam The Eight . the persons involved in the selection of Rounaq Yar Khan As Ninth Nizam Are Not entitled to do so as “Over 127 members are not Sahebzadas registered in various trusts; We request the trustees to remove them as Sahebzadagan. Sahebzadagan is plural for Sahebzada, they said.

The pro-Raunaq Yar Khan faction, also known as the Mahlis-e-Sahebzadagan Society, disagreed with the fatwa. They claimed that the other faction “mislead” the muftis. They also questioned why Azmet Jah was living abroad, despite being a titular head.

According to this faction, Nizam VI Mahbub Ali Khan’s daughter Dawood Unnisa Begum was married to Nazeer Nawaz Jung, a nobleman. They had a daughter Lateefunnisa Begum and Raunaq Yar Khan is her son. (Maxim News)
