Hyderabad, Jan 29 (Maxim News): Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay said that it is not right not to provide Rythu Bharosa, Atmiya Bharosa, Indiramma Houses, and ration cards to all the eligible people. He questioned why only 561 villages were selected, one village per mandal, while there are 12,991 gram panchayats in the state.
Bandi Sanjay wrote an open letter to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to this effect. He said that out of 70 lakh eligible farmers across the state, money has not been deposited in the accounts of 65 lakh farmers to date. He protested that out of 10 lakh agricultural laborers, money had not been deposited in the account of 9,80,000 agricultural laborers.
It is ridiculous to identify only 42,267 people who will be issued 40 lakh new ration cards. Even though 30 lakh families across the state are eligible, it is shameful that not a single house has been built for even a single one. It is a shame that even though more than Rs. 7 thousand crores have been allocated in the state budget for the construction of houses, it is atrocious that not a single paisa has been spent. It is sad that none of the Chief Ministers who came to power after the formation of Telangana as a separate state have been able to keep the promises made.
If the Chief Minister himself cannot implement the promises made, how can the officials working under your leadership work with accountability? The state government has failed to implement the six guarantees. At least provide Rythu Bharosa, Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa, ration cards, and houses to the eligible ones,” Bandi Sanjay demanded.
