No Move To Make Hyderabad As country’s Second Capital: Kishan Reddy
Hyderabad, Jan.9 (Maxim News): Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G. Kishan Reddy today reiterated that the Centre has no plans to make Hyderabad as second capital of the country.
Stating that the issue of formation of three capitals in Andhra Pradesh was the within the purview of the State government concerned, he said the Centre did not get any proposals so far on the issue. He, however, said the State government has the responsibility to render justice to the farmers, who had given lands to the State capital at Amaravathi.
Addressing mediapersons here, Kishan Reddy said the Centre would react on the issue of formation of State capital at the right time. Heaping praises on his government, he said Narendra Modi government was a government of reforms. He also said a team of Union ministers would tour the Jammu and Kashmir State soon. Elaborating on confidence building measures in Jammu and Kashmir, he said they would hold an investors summit in Kashmir very soon. Commenting on the CAA, Kishan Reddy said the Centre was ready to amend the Act if it was found to be affecting the lives of the people in the country.
“For the first time in 30 years, Kashmir witnessed elections for gram panchayat, taluk development councils and soon there will be elections for district development councils. Central government was working towards securing total peace. People are complaining about Internet, but the onus of keeping peace is on us so we took tough decisions.
