Non Stop Check By Food Safety Officials In Hyderabad
Hyderabad, Nov 21 (Maxim News): Food Safety Officials raids are continuing non-stop in Greater Hyderabad. There are successive attacks on restaurants and hotels that do not follow quality standards in food preparation.

Raids by the Food Safety Officials are continuing particularly in LB Nagar, Old City Ameerpet, KPHB, and IT Corridor.
In the inspection of the food safety authorities, the worst things are coming out. Along with chicken, mutton, fish, and paneer were found to be adding chemicals.

The managers of the restaurants found that formalin mixed fish and prawns are being imported from other states at low prices. Officials have confirmed that ginger and garlic paste mixed with synthetic colors are being used in the recipes. Also, the method of making ginger garlic paste from rotten bananas along with potato and onion peels came to light.
The inspections revealed that dangerous caustic soda, which is used in clothes dyes, is also being used as food colors. Officials have come to the conclusion that 64 percent of the hotels and restaurants in the city are involved in adulteration.

Apart from hotels, food safety officials have also placed a watchful eye on spices and ginger-garlic paste manufacturing facilities.
Food safety officials conducted raids on several factories in Rajendranagar Katedan. It was found that ginger and garlic were being manufactured without any permits.

Officials found that adulteration was done by mixing synthetic colors. 1400 kg of adulterated ginger garlic paste illegally stored was seized. Food safety officials found 50 kg of synthetic food color as part of the raids.
It is known that Hyderabad stood last in terms of food quality in the National Crime Records Bureau survey on food safety in Bhagyanagaram. Hyderabad Biryani brand damaged by adulterated food.

The survey revealed that the hotels in the city did not follow the minimum quality standards. A survey was conducted in 19 major cities and Hyderabad took the top place in terms of adulterated food.
In the last two months, 84 percent of food poisoning cases have been reported in Bhagyanagar. A survey revealed that 62 percent of hotels serve expired spoiled rotten food to customers.
