Normal Situation Will Be Restored In 2 days At Rain Hit Areas: Mayor

Hyderabad, Oct.15 (Maxim News): GHMC Mayor Bonthu Rammohan today said that normal situation will be restored in one to two days in the rain hit areas. He visited rain and flood hit areas in Sarurnagar here with local leaders, and officials.

Rammohan stated to find a permanent solution through a study to avoid water logging in lying areas. The residents seek permanent solution to prevent water logging in low lying areas. We will focus on it through a study and by next rainy season this problem will not repeat he assured. The mayor instructed the officials to provide immediate rescue and relief measures in the areas affected by heavy rains and water. With a, team of officials, he interacted with affected people in Singareni colony, Sarurnagar colony and offered milk pockets to people in apartments.

Several places in Sarurnagar and lake area are marooned with waters and the people are seeking help. The mayor has assured of all help to rain damaged areas. Roads should be repaired, necessary help be offered to the affected families, he said. There is no need of panicking as the rain related problems are being addressed now. In just two days normalcy will be prevailed, he hoped. (Maxim News)
