Notification Of Municipal Elections In Telangana This Month!
Hyderabad, Jan 3 (Maxim News): The time has come for the municipal elections in the state. The notification is likely to be released between 11th to 20th of this month. Accordingly, the government and the State Election Commission have started preparations.
It is known that the government has already decided to hold elections to the 117 municipal governing bodies whose terms have expired in Telangana. The Election Commission announced the draft voters list on january 1.
The final list will be released on the 10th of this month. What’s more, the election notification is likely to be released on the 11th. If it is not possible due to the Sankranti festival and holidays, it will be released on the 20th.
Accordingly, the Municipal Administration and urban Development Department is preparing to ensure that the rest of the process runs smoothly. (Maxim News)
