Hyderabad: Actor NTR underwent successful shoulder surgery at KIMS Hospitals in Secunderabad on Wednesday.
The actor suffered a shoulder injury in an accident during a recent film shoot. Doctors later assessed the injury and advised surgical treatment.
An orthopedic team at KIMS Hospitals performed the procedure. Dr. R.A. Poornachandra Tejaswi, Dr. Nithin Bejjanki, Dr. Madhusudhan Rao and Dr. Srinivasa Rao Surapaneni led the surgical team.
The hospital said the surgery was completed successfully. NTR remains stable and is under medical observation at the hospital.
According to the health bulletin, doctors expect the actor to make a full recovery within two to three months. He will continue his recovery under medical supervision during this period.
The medical team will monitor his condition and rehabilitation as he progresses. Further activity will depend on his recovery and medical advice.
KIMS Medical Director and Head of Critical Care Dr. Sambit Sahu issued the health bulletin regarding NTR’s condition.
NTR Expected to Recover Within Three Months
The surgery follows an injury that NTR sustained while working on a film project. The incident affected his shoulder and required further medical evaluation.
Meanwhile, the successful procedure is expected to begin the actor’s recovery phase. Doctors have indicated a two to three month period for complete recovery.
The development may also affect the actor’s professional schedule during his rehabilitation. However, the hospital has not provided details about changes to his upcoming film commitments.
NTR has continued to work on major film projects in recent years. His injury and subsequent surgery have therefore drawn attention from fans and the Telugu film industry.
For now, the actor remains under the care of the KIMS medical team. Doctors will assess his recovery before clearing him for a return to normal activities.
The hospital’s statement confirmed that there are currently no reported complications following the surgery.
