Officials Told To Expedite Works For Medaram Festival

Hyderabad, Nov.25 (Maxim News): Tribal welfare minister Sathyavathi Rathod today directed officials concerned to complete by December the works of upcoming Medaram Jathara festival in old Warangal district. The State government sanctioned Rs 75 crore for grand conduct of the tribal festival from February 5 to 7, she said.

Speaking to mediapersons, the minister said efforts will be made to get it national status from the Centre by a visit and world class brand. Rathod extended thanks to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for the funds and support for the Sammakka Sarakka festival. (Maxim News)
