OFMK Organized a Cleanliness drive at Ordnance Factory Medak estate

Secunderabad, 30 Sep 2023: Ordnance Factory Medak (OFMK), which is a constituent unit of Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited (AVNL) is set to launch “Special Campaign 3.0” on 1st Oct 2023 as per the directives of the Ministry of Defence, Gol.

As a part of this campaign, OFMK Organized a Cleanliness drive at the Market Complex of Ordnance Factory Medak estate, Yeddumailaram. This initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from both the Top Management and Employees of OFMK demonstrating their commitment to the cause. Furthermore, OFMK also planned a Tree plantation in front of the Foundry gate and Sarath Community hall under the heading of “Ek Ghanta Ek Tareek” mission to enhance the estate’s greenery.

In an effort to raise awareness about cleanliness (Swachhata) among a wider audience, OFMK has also devised a Special Cleanliness Drive program in collaboration with local district authorities where Shri K Sudhakar, IOFS, Chief General Manager will be distinguished Chief Guest along with Senior Officers of OFMK. This initiative extends its reach by involving local villagers and fostering community participation in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.

Implementing such campaigns and initiatives aligns with the Gol’s directives and underscores OFMK’s dedication to promoting cleanliness, environmental sustainability, and community engagement within its premises and the surrounding areas. This approach reflects OFMK’s commitment to its social and environmental responsibilities.
