One Remanded Under PD Act For Lifting 12 Auto Rickshaws

Hyderabad, June 15 (Maxim News): City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar, IPS, issued P.D. Orders against Mohd Nayeem alias Shaik Nayeem, property offender of Golconda Police Station on June 3.

The 20-year-old accused, an Auto Driver residing at Indira Gandhi Nagar, Langer House committed theft of auto rickshaws in an organised manner in the limits of Hyderabad and Cyberabad Police Commissionerates along with his associates. He committed theft of 12 auto rickshaws in the limits of Hyderabad and Cyberabad Police Commissionerates and has been creating panic among the public and disturbing the peace, tranquility, and social harmony in the society.

The Golconda police arrested the accused on January 18 under Sections 379 read with 34 & 411 IPC & 102 Cr.P.C. of Golconda PS and recovered stolen vehicles and remanded him to judicial custody. The Preventive Detention Order was executed on him on June 7 and was lodged in Chanchalguda Central Prison. (Maxim News)
