Operation Musi Turns Violent: Massive Protests, Block Officials In Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Sept 27 (Maxim News): As part of the beautification of Musi, ‘Operation Musi‘, which was undertaken to remove houses and apartments located along the river bed and in the catchment area, has become tenser. The residents protesting against the survey attacked the officials conducting the survey today (Friday). The officials ran away in fear.

As part of the agitation, the residents of the Langar Houz area took out a protest rally against HYDRA. They chanted ‘Revanth Reddy down down‘. The officials turned back and left after shouting go-back slogans on a large scale.

BJP Leaders Enter Field Against Operation Musi

In New Maruti Nagar Colony, MP Eatala Rajendar and BJP corporators have lined the road in support of the Musi victims. On the other hand, while this agitation continued, the revenue officials marked the houses. Angered by this, local BJP corporator Narasimha Gupta along with the colony residents raised slogans saying “Go back, Go back“. They stopped the officials from marking. The officials turned back and left when they jumped on them to go back.

MP Eatala Rajender said that CM Revanth Reddy’s government is playing drama in the name of HYDRA. He mentions that people are being blindsided and he said on the day of HYDRA’s appointment that it was all a drama. “According to the calculations made by your officials. It is not government land that is surrounded by ponds. Do not demolish their houses that have been there for years. They are doing it mercilessly as the armies of enemy countries are doing. At Jonnala Banda, demolition works are being done on the land given by Indira Gandhi. We have no problem with the beautification of Musi River. Those who have bought land are still paying EMIs. It is not right to give double bedroom houses to the houses bought with lakhs of rupees. Musi water never came in these areas. They are making the people of Basti an eyesore. People do not have peace because they believe your words, he said.

BJP MP Eatala’s Warning To CM

Khabardar Revanth“, Eatala Rajender warned to avoid doing things that disturb people. He said that he would give a report to  the Center on the issue of Musi demolitions. Eatala said that they are working without faith in laws and judges, if you have faith, come and sit, talk, and Discuss. Not your jagir. If people vote then you become CM. It is not right to oppress people. If necessary, we will surround ourselves with lakhs of people. Let’s climb the steps of the court. BJP will not sit back and watch. Locals say that if we die, we will die here but we will not move from here. As a former finance minister, your economy has collapsed. Drowning in debt. No experience of working as a minister. Eatala Rajender stated that if you ask with the tears of poor people, you will fall.  (Maxim News)
