Opposition Parties Have Hurt Themselves: PM Modi
Delhi/Hyderabad, Aug 5 (Maxim News): Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the opposition parties have hurt themselves by insisting on a debate on ‘Operation Sindoor‘. He said that the opposition leaders were defeated because they could not stand up to the government during the debate.
He taunted that they could not use even the single opportunity to question the government. At that time, their careless attitude towards the country’s security, differences of opinion were revealed within their own party leaders. He said that he has not seen such opposition leaders anywhere else. Modi made these comments while speaking at the NDA parliamentary party meeting.
Modi criticized the Congress party leaders, who always talk about the Constitution, for never implementing it in Jammu and Kashmir when they were in power. But the NDA government has truly implemented the Constitution by revoking Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. he said that while his government is taking historic decisions like revoking Article 370, construction of Ram temple, and Operation sindoor, the opposition parties are harming themselves with their actions.
It is known that there were recent discussions in the Lok Sabha on the Pahalgam attack and Operation Sindoor. In the discussions, the opposition parties challenged the government in both the houses. They Questioned the government’s accountability, especially by mentioning failures in security and foreign policy.
While opposition leaders Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and others lashed out at the government. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and another minister Nadda from the ruling party strongly refuted their criticism. This led to arguments in both the houses. At the end, Modi responded in detail and mentioned the mistakes made during the opposition’s rule in his own style.
He clarified that Operation Sindoor and Operation Mahadev played a key role in eliminating terrorists. Responding to criticism from the opposition over US President Trump’s repeated claims that he had averted a war between India and Pakistan. Modi criticized the opposition’s behavior in those meetings at the NDa meeting held today. (Maxim News)
