Osmania University Esures Peaceful Learning Environment For Students

Hyderabad, Dec 3 (Maxim News): Osmania University Vice-Chancellor Acharya Kumar Molugaram has directed the authorities to take steps to ensure that students continue their studies in a peaceful environment.  The varsity, which has already decided to extend the closing time of the main gates by one hour till nine in the night, has recently taken more security measures. Professor Kumar directed the security personnel to keep the gate next to the Adikmet flyover open 24 hours for the convenience of employees and students including the OU Distance Education Center (PGRRCDE), Regional Institute of Urban and Environmental Studies (RCUES), Directorate of Admissions, NGO Home, Sanskrit Academy, EMRC institutions.

 It has been clarified that heavy, transport and commercial vehicles should not be allowed on the OU main road. It has been made clear to the OU security personnel that for the protection and convenience of students, teachers, and employees, inspections, vigils, and night patrols should be arranged wherever necessary. He should be ready to take necessary measures from time to time according to the situation. OU security personnel are advised to exercise their powers and carry out inspections whenever necessary. He said that a special initiative should be taken regarding the security of women and girls hostels. Everyone is requested to cooperate with this. (Maxim News)
