Dr. Padiya received this esteemed national award in recognition of his excellence and dedicated services in the field of Science and Technology.

An experienced academic, Dr. Padiya has dedicated 12 years to teaching and research at the University College of Science. His notable contributions include:

  • Research: Publication of 30 valuable international research papers focusing on the critical area of diabetes and related complications.
  • Mentorship: Successfully guided three PhD research scholars who have been awarded their degrees under his supervision.

  • Outreach: Delivered 45 invited guest lectures at various conferences and symposiums, demonstrating a strong commitment to diabetes education with the motto of translating science from “Lab to Layman.”
