Osmania University Releases 2026 Diary and Calendar
Osmania University | Hyderabad, Dec 31 (Maxim News): Osmania University welcomed the New Year with the formal release of the 2026 University Diary, Calendar, and Informatica by the Vice-Chancellor.
In the presence of the core leadership team comprising Prof. G. Naresh Reddy, Registrar, Prof. S. Jithendra Kumar Naik, OSD to the Vice-Chancellor, Deans, Directors, Principals, Heads of Departments, Faculty Members, and Non-Teaching Staff from across the University.
Speaking on the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor commended the exemplary efforts of the University Press & Publications wing, led by Prof. V. Ramesh, Director, for their dedication and professional commitment that ensured the timely release of the Diary, Calendar, and Informatica.
He applauded the team for upholding the University’s legacy of quality, precision, and service orientation.
The Vice-Chancellor reiterated the strong support and visionary commitment of the Government of Telangana, under the leadership of the Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, towards strengthening the higher education ecosystem.
VC expressed gratitude for the Government’s forward-looking initiatives and the allocation of ₹1,000 crores for the comprehensive development of Osmania University’s infrastructure, academic facilities, and research ecosystem, aimed at positioning OU as a world-class global university.

Reflecting on the evolving academic landscape, the Vice-Chancellor observed: “We stand at a defining moment of transition where Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies are reshaping every sphere of knowledge and human endeavour.
Higher Education is at the forefront of this transformation. It is time for us to adapt, innovate, and re-skill ourselves to remain relevant and future-ready — for change is the only constant.”
VC appreciated the unwavering support and commitment of both teaching and non-teaching staff in the University’s progress and urged the fraternity to continue working with renewed zeal, responsibility, and institutional pride in the coming year.
VC extended his heartfelt New Year wishes to all members of the Osmania University family, wishing them success, well-being, and fulfillment in their personal and professional lives.
