Osmania University Staff meets ahead of NAAC Accreditation

Osmania University | Hyderabad, Feb 6 (Maxim News): A meeting was held at the Administrative Building to sensitising the Faculty members and Heads of the various offices for getting ready for the NAAC Accreditation process at the Senate Hall. Directors, principals, Deans, Heads, and all Faculty members in large numbers attended the meeting.

Vice-Chancellor, Prof. D. Ravinder in his address expressed his gratitude and profusely thanked the State Government for their benevolence towards the University in enhancing the budget allocation by Rs. 39 Crores compared to last year.

He spoke elaborately on the need for gearing up for the Fourth Cycle of the NAAC accreditation process and exhorted the teachers to cooperate in submitting the requisite information in time.

Prof. P. Laxminaryana, Registrar of the University appreciated the efforts of the past and present IQAC members towards achieving consistently top grades in the last three cycles of accreditation and requested all the stakeholders to cooperate in the present cycle of accreditation too.

Furthermore, during the meeting, all the Faculty members present have unanimously condemned the recent incidents on campus by some people not directly associated with Osmania University and in creating a ruckus over the Ph.D. Admission process.

The Vice-Chancellor and Registrar reiterated that the ongoing Ph.D. The admission process is strict as per the UGC guidelines and the University administration will not deviate from any rules and uphold the quality of research.  (Maxim News)
