Over 1.93 Lakh Cases Settled In The National Lok Adalat

Hyderabad, June 15 (Maxim News): The Telangana Police, during the National Lok Adalat held on Saturday, liquidated 1,93,439 cases successfully. The Lok Adalat was held on the guidelines issued by the Supreme Court of India and is aimed at amicably settling cases between the parties through compounding.

Telangana DGP Dr. Jitender, said the initiative witnessed remarkable success across the state. Addressing a wide range of legal matters and providing financial relief to victims of cyber fraud. The success was possible through coordination between Telangana State legal Services Authority (TGLSA), District Judges, magistrates, District Legal Services Authorities (DLSAs), Commissioners of Police, State Cyber Security Bureau and District Superintendents of Police, he said.

All the police units did well in the disposal of compoundable cases in the National Lok Adalat as comp[ared to the compoundable cases disposed off in the previous one on March 8. In addition, a refund of the amount put on hold in Cyber Crimes was also undertaken. (Maxim News)
