Over 23 Congress Leaders Call For Changes In The Party

In an unprecedented political move in Congress, the 23 party leaders, including those from the Congress Working Committee (CWC), have written a letter to party honourary president Sonia Gandhi over the party affairs. The letter is said to have been written by both the senior party leaders and the young leaders.

Ghulam Nabi Azad, Anand Sharma, Arvinder Singh Lovely, Manish Tiwari, Raj Babbar, and Sandeep Dikshit are the prominent leaders who have expressed their grave concerns over the party. They have been demanding effective central leadership to counter BJP. The party members have been seeking Rahul Gandhi to be made the president of the party. The letter also demanded the re-election of the CWC. Congress Working Committee meeting is likely on Monday to deal with the situation.
