Parliament Budget Session From Jan 31: 16 Bills Including Waqf Bill To Be Introduced

Delhi/Hyderabad, Jan 30 (Maxim News): The budget sessions of Parliament will be held from Friday (31 January 2025). In this context, an all-party meeting was held in Delhi under the chairmanship of Union Minister Rajnath Singh. Union Ministers Kiren Rijiju, JP Nadda, Arjun Ram Meghwal, and L. Murugan attended on behalf of the government. Similarly, Jairam Ramesh, K.Suresh, Gaurav Gogoi from Congress, Sudip Bandyopadhyay, Derek O’Brien, and others from TMC participated.

On this occasion, Union Minister Rajnath Singh asked the opposition members to cooperate with the budget sessions. The budget session will begin on January 31 and end on April 4,  The Finance Minister will present the budget on February 1.

The President will address both the Houses on January 31, the opening day of the Budget Sessions.  The Budget Sessions will be adjourned from February 14 to March 10.

It is reported that 16 important bills will come before Parliament in the 2025-26 budget session.  The Center has included the Waqf Amendment Bill, the Disaster Management Bill, the Finance Bill 2025, the Immigration Bill 2025, and some other bills.

The opposition parties are preparing strategies for the budget session.  The opposition is likely to focus on issues such as unemployment, inflation,n and the depreciation of the rupee. (Maxim News)
