The Winter Session of the Indian Parliament will begin on December 1 and continue till December 19. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju announced the schedule officially on Friday. The upcoming session will run for a total of 19 days, and discussions on several key bills and national issues are expected to take center stage.

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju stated that President Draupadi Murmu has approved the session dates following the recommendation of the government. Sharing the details on his X account, the Minister said he looks forward to “constructive and meaningful meetings that will strengthen our democracy and meet the aspirations of the people.” His statement sets the tone for an eventful session where major legislative and economic discussions will unfold.
During this session, several important bills and policy matters are likely to come up for discussion. The agenda is expected to include matters of national development, citizen welfare, and pressing economic challenges.
