Hyderabad: National Industrial Security Academy Director Anjana Sinha on Monday reviewed the passing out parade of 199 trainees of the 16th batch constable basic course at the Central Industrial Security Force’s Fire Service Training Institute (FSTI).
The parade was followed by a demonstration on yoga, physical training, fire-fighting and disaster management. In her address, Anjana Sinha complimented the staff and trainees for the excellent parade and said the CISF fire wing was giving fire protection to 102 vital installations. During the fire accident in ONGC in Mumbai and the recent Styrene Gas leakage at LG Polymers in Visakhapatnam, the wing played a crucial role in controlling the damages and saved lives and property.
The prompt action taken by the wing was appreciated by local authorities. The fire-fighters from the wing put their best efforts beyond their personal safety for prevention of fire and save lives and property, Sinha added.
