Hyderabad, Oct.31 (Maxim News): Jana Sena president and noted Telugu hero Pawan Kalyan today extended support to the striking RTC employees and appealed them not to resort to extreme steps.
Pawan Kalyan said that he will join protests of the RTC JAC and its plans, if he failed to get appointment of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
RTC JAC leaders met him at his party office here and urged his support to the strike and take steps to meet their demands.
Later, Pawan informed media persons that he will talk to chief minister on the RTC strike and woes of workers and people. He said he will seek CM’s appointment to discuss on the RTC strike and demands. RTC JAC Chief Ashwathama Reddy and others appraised the JS chief on the strike and their demands and response from KCR Government.
‘I gave great respect tn KCR and will try to discuss specially on the RTC strike as it is the problem of workers and people too. Else I will join the RTC employees protest program’ he said. Extending solidarity to the workers on the stir, he appealed to Chief Minister to resolve the issue.
The government cannot remain stubborn on the strike as the problem is not just of 48000 striking RTC employees, but also that of the people. he added. (Maxim News)
