Pawn Broker and His Servant Arrested
- Pawn broker and his Servant arrested and recovered gold & silver ornaments worth of Rs. 27 lakhs
Hyderabad, Jan 30 (Maxim News): On a tip of the Motakondur Police of Yadadri Bhuvangir zone have arrested Pawn Broker Sunil Sharma @ Chatra Ram owner of the Maha Laxmi Pawn Broker and his worker Laxman Jat.
The Police recovered Gold jewellery & Silver ornaments weighing about 67 Tulas of gold and 18 kgs of silver all worth of Rs. 27 lakhs from the possession of the accused persons.
The brief facts of the case is that the complainant Botla Ramesh S/o Pochaiah, age: 35 yrs caste: SC Madiga, occu: private job R/o Motakondur village & Mandal lodged a complaint against Sunil Sharma who is owner of Mahalaxmi Pawn Broker running the business since 4 years at Motakondur village. Complainant has mortgaged his 7 tulas gold ornaments and 28 tulas silver ornament and taken as Rs. 78,000/- from the owner and on 20.12.2016 he paid Rs 23,500/- to owner but he failed to return his ornaments. On the next day onwards Sunil Sharma has shut down the shop and fled away from the village and not opened the shop as such the Sunil Sharma and his worker Laxman Jat both committed “Criminal Breach of Trust” and cheated to the villagers about 200 members who kept their Gold and Silver ornaments as a mortgage at their shop .
Basing on the above complaint the Police Yadgirigutta registered a case in Cr. No. 300/2016 U/s 406,420 IPC & Sec. 29, 30 of Pawn Brokers Act 2002 and handed over to P.S. Motakondur for further investigation. Basing on the gravity of the crime a special team was formed with SI Mothakondur Ashok as incharge to nab the accused persons. This team has visited Pali District of Rajasthan in search of offender and got important information on where about of accused .
Today, the Police Motakondur apprehended the accused A-1 Sunil sharma @ Chatra Ram Sharmsand A-2 Laxman Jat at Yadgirgutta Bus stand and on their confession recovered the Gold & Silver ornaments weighing about 67 Tulas of gold and 18 kgs silver all worth of Rs. 27 lakhs.
The accused A-1 Chartruram Sharma @ Chatra Ram Sharma @ Sunil sharma S/o Late.Bhanwarlal Sharma, age:30 yrs, Occ:Business in the name of Mahalaxmi Pawn Brokers, at Motakondur (V) ,Caste: Brahmins (OBC), R/o. 1-205/A-1, Motakondur (V & M) Yadadri dist. N/o.Kumaawar-ka-was (Village), Pipliya Khurd (Gram Panchayat) , Jaitaran (Tashil), Pali (dist), Rajasthan State and A-2 Laxman @ Lichu Jat S/o Bhiyaram, age 20 years, caste: Choudhry (OBC), occ: private job R/o H.No. 3-1-25, Dhobi Basthi, Picket, Secunderabad both are Native of Rajasthan state and running the business without valid license at Motakondur village and cheating the publice by making them to belive.
The arrest was made under supervision of P.Yadagiri, Dy. Commissioner of Police, Yadadri Bhongir Zone, Abdul Rasheed, Asst. Commissioner of Police, Traffic Bhongir I/c Bhongir Division by P.Raghuveer Reddy Circle Inspector of Police Yadgiri gutta, with the assistance of P. Ashok Kumar SI Mothakondur PS and his staff Md.Shamshuddin PC 111, P.Raju PC 1748, Sk.Ahmed PC 2213 of P.S Motakondur along with B.Srinivas Reddy PC 2914, S.Narender PC 2945 of Alair P.S. All are suitably rewarded.
