Pay Interests To SHG Groups Of State: TPCC
Hyderabad, Jan.22 (Maxim News): TPCC official spokesperson Indira Shoban today demanded the state government to immediately pay the interests money on all the loans availed by the SHGs groups.
She said that the congress party had given a importance to the SHGs in its rule in the undivided Andhra Pradesh state and added that their government had given interest fee loans and implemented Sthree Nidhi scheme and Jana Sri Bhima Yojana for them. She also said that they had also gave legal status to Abhaya hastham. She alleged that all the schemes introduced by their party had been diluted in the state. Referring to the official information obtained by her under RTI, as against the arrears of Rs. 3422.30 crore meant for the 6.72 lakh members between 2014 to 2020, blu Rs.1760.36 crore were paid so far. She said that the government still owed Rs.1661.94 crore to the beneficiaries.
She claimed that some of the banks were forcefully collecting the arrears due to the delay in the payment of the amount by the state government. She said that the state government had the responsibility to encourage the thrifting nature of the women of the state. (Maxim News)
