Plan Subsidized Housing For Workers: KTR

Hyderabad, May 1 (Maxim News): TRS working president KT Rama rao promised to look into the demand of providing housing facility on subsidy to working class in State.

Speaking after greeting workers on World Labour Day at Telangana Bhavan, KTR said the TRS government has turned workers as friendly. It has been implementing schemes for the welfare of the working community and labourers. Telangana government has fetched several new companies and providing jobs and employment with local priority, he said. “Now our State has got some companies as part of “Make in Telangana and Make in India”.

“While the Congress regime suppressed the workers, the KCR Government called the labourers to Pragathi Bhavan and addressed their problems over lunch”, he claimed. As the working class was key for industrial growth and economic development, the government was implementing schemes for their cause. KCR offered more salaries to Asha workers, Anganwadi workers, VRAs and sanitary workers.

He also said KCR kept the promise of increasing salaries for home guards to Rs 21,000 from Rs 9,000 a month. KCR has already addressed hereditary employment in Singareni Collieries Company Limited and cancelled tax on autos and tractors. The government will think on the demand for housing facility near the industries,” he added. (Maxim News)
