Speaking at the Secretariat media point, he said, “Tourism has not developed in the state despite the resources. Now we have prepared a Tourism Policy DPR. We are going to discuss the draft policy with the CM and implement it soon.

If 30 percent of the potential in the country is diverted towards tourism, the economy of the country and the state will be strengthened. Golconda Taramati Hotel’s land is worth a hundred crores but its income is only a crore. We are planning to increase the tourism income under the aegis of private and government. We are going to visit Nallamala forest soon. Wedding tourism is on the rise. We are going to change the way of life of the people through the tourism and culture department at the rural level. A wellness restart is going to be built in the hills of Ananthagiri.  We are going to develop eco, medical, and temple tourism. There is a possibility of increasing employment opportunities, he said.
