PM Modi Condemns Corruption, Hereditary Rule And Appeasement Policies

Delhi/Hyderabad, Aug 9 (Maxim News):  Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that India is condemning corruption, hereditary rule, and appeasement policies with open arms.

On the occasion of the anniversary of the Quit India movement led by the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi ji, the Prime Minister paid tribute to the freedom fighters in a tweet on Wednesday.

“Tributes to all those who participated in the Quit India movement.  The Quit India Movement played a vital role in the liberation of the country from British colonial rule under the leadership of Gandhiji.  “Today, India is saying with one voice, ‘corruption Quit India, Dynasty Quit India,  Appeasement Quit India,”  Modi said in the tweet.

Modi’s comments have gained importance in the context of BJP leaders targeting the opposition, especially the Congress party, on issues like hereditary rule, appeasement of minorities, and corruption.  BJP is taking several programs across the country on Wednesday to dry up the behavior of the opposition.

On the occasion of the anniversary of the Quit India Movement, the BJP MPs also held a demonstration on the Parliament premises. (Maxim News)
